These terms of service govern your use of the TN Renewables website and our provision of renewable energy installation services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. TN Renewables is operated from 42 Ralph Road, Staveley, Chesterfield, S43 3PY.
TN Renewables provides renewable energy installation services including air source heat pumps, solar panels, Tesla Powerwall and home battery storage, underfloor heating, and air conditioning. All installations are carried out by MCS certified, NICEIC approved, and fully insured engineers in compliance with current UK building regulations and industry standards.
All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices include VAT where applicable. Final pricing is confirmed following a property survey and may differ from initial estimates if site conditions vary. We operate a transparent pricing policy with no hidden costs.
Installation dates are agreed upon acceptance of a quotation. We endeavour to complete work within agreed timeframes but cannot be held liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control including adverse weather, supply chain disruptions, or required permissions. We will communicate any delays promptly.
Payment terms are specified in individual quotations. We accept payment by cash, credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. For larger installations, staged payments may be arranged. Government grant funding (e.g., Boiler Upgrade Scheme) is applied directly where applicable and we handle the application process.
All installations are covered by manufacturer warranties on equipment and our workmanship guarantee. Warranty periods vary by product — typically 5-25 years for equipment and 2-10 years for installation work. Warranties are conditional on proper use and maintenance as detailed in handover documentation. MCS certification provides additional consumer protection.
Customers are responsible for: providing accurate information about their property and requirements; ensuring safe access to the installation site; obtaining any necessary permissions from landlords or management companies; maintaining installed systems as per provided guidelines; and notifying us promptly of any issues during the warranty period.
You have the right to cancel a contract within 14 days of signing in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If installation has commenced during the cooling-off period at your request, you may be liable for costs incurred to date. Cancellations after the 14-day period are subject to our cancellation policy as detailed in your contract.
The content on our website is provided for general information purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the information is complete, up-to-date, or error-free. Energy savings, costs, and grant amounts mentioned on our website are indicative and subject to individual property assessments and current government policy.
Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the contract value for the specific installation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
We aim to resolve any disputes directly and promptly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, MCS and RECC provide independent dispute resolution services for installations within their scope. These terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Existing contracts will continue under the terms agreed at the time of signing. These terms were last updated in March 2026.
